Introduction
The Dancing Girls is a luxurious new
sail catamaran manufactured and delivered in December of 2007 from famed
builder of racing catamarans, Fountaine Pajot.. The Dancing Girls is hull number four of a
new design with many innovative new features such as the hard davit cover that
makes into a day bed and the companionway leading to the bridge pilot
station. She is a fast cruiser with a
rated speed of 12 knots on a broad reach.
The Dancing Girls was sailed across the
Atlantic on her initial delivery from La Rochelle, France, to Annapolis, MD.,
proving her reliability as an ocean cruiser. She is unmatched with beauty and
modern convenience. Rigged with wind and solar power generators and water maker
to reduce trips into port for fuel and water, the dual helm allows Dancing
Girls to be operated from the salon or the bridge.
The sail plan includes a fully battened
mainsail in lazy jacks, a roller furling jib and an asymmetrical
spinnaker. A 12’ Caribe dinghy with a 20
hp, 4-stroke Mercury outboard offers mobility near shore.
Dancing Girls galley includes a Magma
Gourmet Series propane grill on the back deck, a Breville Panini electric
grill, a Cuisinart microwave and coffee maker, an ice maker and is well configured
for entertaining a large group of guests.
The Dancing Girls is equipped with state
of the art electronics including redundant top of the line navigation systems,
satellite phone, satellite position tracking and internet access, large flat
screen TV, Cabin flat screen TVs, digital media player and XM satellite
stereo. An on board lap top computer
for e-mail and web access.
There is an onboard commercial air
compressor with hooka rig with 200’ line and 4 line octopus.
Cruise Plan
The Dancing Girls may be chartered as an
“at the dock” charter or chartered with our 100 Ton USCG Master Captain and
mate for overnight cruising to Boca Grande Key, the Marquesas Keys or the Dry
Tortugas all to the west of Key West. In
addition, we can make passage to the islands of the Bahamas or other
destinations.

Captain and
Mate
The Dancing Girls is a large and
sophisticated boat which a sufficiently skilled captain and mate are required
to master. The owner has several
qualified persons to handle this responsibility or will consider applicants
with sufficient qualifications. The
charter customer will be required to retain the services of an owner approved
qualified captain independent of the charter agreement.
